Git into Vanderbilt fellas!

Ive now been to 3 specialists and tried 3 sleep studies. I can only sleep 1.5 or 2 hrs so the tests aren’t any good other than i have no apnea which is good. I try to tell them about that medication @rnmuscle recommended but they just act like ive slapped them so whatever on to the next 1. Called Vanderbilt they were scheduling appointments out past may next year and one popped up tue with the neurological department head. Sleep professer. Big guy lucky as hell ill have to give more at church next time so anyway been like 7 months since i slept more than 3.5 hrs ive lost tons of muscle 20 lbs it sux but im surviving cant fucking wait to get back at it boys

Yes, most of us do not like when a patient and ive been treated the same way, mentions schedulled drugs as a first course of treatment. LoL . even if your a good salesman and say" what is this i read about in this magazine or saw on tV. How old are you? Do you wake up immediately or like youve slept and its just been 2 hours, do you have to pee or go #2(thats clinical) is you heart racing? Do you take a preworkout within 5 hours or sleep, the loss of weight even if its greater than 5 % is concerning if you wernt trying. Could it be any " supplements" you shouldnt have to just feel like shit and just get through. Do you try benadryl or something similar? Sometimes, they help but can cause a rapid wake once it wears off. Sleep is so important, do you stay off social media and other shit before bed. Porn is acceptable. JK…no im not…there is so much stimuli nowadays. I am in support of any med, or therapy, whatever if it improves your quality of life. Doesnt have to have unequivocal peer reviewed triple blind 10 year studies. Glad you dont have apnea events. Dont accept less. If you are one that only needs 4 hours sleep and maybe a " power nap" then fine. Sometimes carbs before bed could heip. I used to cycle carb diet and knew i had to have some carbs like a little rice with sugar or oatmeal,otherwise i couldnt sleep, so id have post workout and “bedtime” carbs. Oh and I "had to have caramel in my coffee, I dont care if it means 1 hour of cardio. I know thats a lot but the 20 lbs and is much to give up unless it getting leaner. Hormones, complete check up by a knowledgable sleep doctor or even ENDOcrinologist / internal med guy could give you so answers!!!

Ive been through the sleep hygine stuff gone no caffine. Ive been tried on ambien melatonin seroquel 200 im not responsive to them ive slept everywhere from my bed to the guest room to the couch. Ive lost weight bc when i dont sleep i dont have an appetite

I even came off trt and got my test down to 9 for a few weeks that was a blast but when you cant sleep youll try anything

Ive actually seen people with true insomnia. Its brutal for them. If you fall asleep but then get up after a couple of hours, im sure you’ve taken a med at that time. Restiril or temazapam is a effective benzo just used for sleep and yes its old but effective. Pretty strong ,but if benefit outweighs…

True ive got both of them and been swapped right off of them on to the next whatever dunno it just doesn’t do anything to me. I could feel seroquel but wouldnt sleep just be drunk as hell

Damn I can fall asleep but I wake to pee every 2 hours almost like clock work
