Blood donation

So I’m starting a cycle, 500 test e 300 deca and 600 eq a week, I can NOT donate blood for medical reasons so I’m asking how can I extract blood at home, do they sell at home blood kits? Or just a 16 g needle and a plastic line and let it drip out out what can I do? Thank you!

You can usually pay to have it done at a hospital. I’m guessing they can’t use your blood the hospital would just toss it as medical waste not sure cost though

I did just what @Dirtnasty said for a bit. Therapeutic draw… they’ll test to see if it’s warranted and draw a pint and dispose.

There was someone else talking about drawing their own pint… don’t remember who. Just doesn’t sound right to me imo.

Are you sure phlebotomy is, in fact, needed?

What is your Hematocrit level at those dosages?

It is not need as of right now, I’m just getting prepared and ideas for when or if I do need it, heard eq thickened blood, I take bsby asprine and Cialis every day

I’m on the same.

Baby aspirin is a good choice if your stomach can tolerate it. I also give up a pint every 60 days or so.

How will you know when you need it?

Are you going to get bloodwork before, and during this cycle?

Most people, even competitive types, don’t see their levels go much higher than 54.
People at high altitudes can have it all the way up to 62% I believe.
You are at 46 it looks like so you should have room.

imho this should be a procedure for critical issues not maintenance.

They recommend even juat on trt to donate every 8 weeks

Some People in our sport are questioning a lot of things “They” say.

And even if “They” turn out to be correct, it’s still a great way to test old paradigms… Just like this one.

Assuming your numbers are good and you feel good, Why put your system and body through that unnecessarily?

I won’t know when I need it, I plan on a mid cycle blood test in the Bext few months

My point is…you probably won’t need it.

If you want to monitor it closely, you can buy a monitor, strips, and lancets for $200. Very easy to use.

This cost me $2,000. Total bullshit! Insurance covered some. The next day I went home and did it again myself. It’s not easy doing it without help. The tricky part is keeping the 16 gauge needle in the vein when you pull out the plunger. It’s best to have a friend there in case you pass out so they can pull the needle out of your vein so you don’t bleed out. I did it in the shower so it didn’t look like a murder scene once the mess was cleaned up.

  • put 3cc syringe in vein with 16 gauge needle.
  • pull the plunger back to create a vacuum moving the blood down the syringe, then gently pull the plunger out of the syringe(not easy).
  • aim blood leakage into a 1 liter protein shaker cup so you can accurate take out 1 liter of blood if that’s your goal.
  • then pull out the needle and dump the blood down the drain with hot water.
The hardest part is when you pull the plunger out of the syringe. It’s extremely hard to keep the 16 gauge needle in the vein the whole time unless you have a friend holding the needle in place. I suppose you could tape the needle down once it’s in place with strong duct tape. Getting the plunger out at the bottom smoothly is a bitch!

There are YouTube videos on dumping your own blood. This video doesn’t show the steps but same idea. Drain it into a measuring cup.

Made me nauseas looking at his nasty clumping blood. Haha :grinning:

He probably will
In eq my blood gets so thick they have to strip the line to get it to move sometime

Will I feel any different if my blood gets thicker, like before I don’t labs, just in case I need to do it before then, I was going to do a 15 weeks deca eq test then keep test and eq for another 5 weeks. That just the amount of gear I have so I want to use it all.

During my eq highish test days prior to blood donations…about 15 years ago…I felt way better when I started donating.

It comes on like a slow creep so If you’ve never donated then you don’t know what you don’t know.

That was my experience anyways. Beings I’m not doing anything exotic nowadays and with one sometimes two daily aspirins. My blood is flowing nicely. To the point I’m kind of happy to bleed normal from a wound. Didn’t used to be that way.

I think our local hospital charged me something like 200 bucks. Insurance wouldn’t cover it even with a therapeutic draw script from doc.

Super thick blood (hemoglobin at 25) made me feel fatigued all the time. I haven’t had blood taken out in 4 years. My hemoglobin was 20.5 a year ago. Doctor said it won’t kill me so I never bothered to dump blood again. I know I’d feel better energy and healthier if I did but I don’t feel like doing it by myself again.

I literally gave you a link for a self test device on Amazon.
